What size storage units do you have?

Our sizes range from 5’x5’ to 10’x30’ and are about 8’ high (approximate dimensions).

Does Southside Storage provide locks?

You can purchase a new sealed lock at our facility. We offer heavy duty stainless steel Chateau disc padlocks. Locks come with two keys and the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty. You will be the only one with a key.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

Southside Storage offers outside, uncovered parking.

Can I reserve a storage unit in advance?

Yes. Credit card information is required at time of reservation.

Do you rent space month-to-month, or do I have to sign a long-term lease?

Southside's leases are month-to-month. No long-term leases are required.

Do I need to give you notice when I move out?

To avoid paying additional rent, you must give written notice 10 days in advance and vacate by the last day of the month.

When can I access my storage unit?

7am - 8pm daily.

What are your office hours?

9am - 5pm Monday-Friday
9 am - 12pm Saturday.

What do I do if I lose my keys?

For a fee, Southside Storage will cut the lock. No outside locksmiths are allowed without written permission. Do not attempt to cut the lock yourself.

Do you provide insurance on my stored goods?

No, but we offer insurance to cover your unit's contents.

What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?

A valid driver's license or valid identification card.

Move out procedures:

1) Submit written notice ten days prior to moving out.
2) Vacate unit by the end of the month to avoid further rent charges.
3) Remove all contents of unit.
4) Sweep unit. Close door. Take lock off unit door.
