Packing Suggestions

Keep in mind when you’re packing fragile articles to pack the heaviest objects toward the bottom.
Separately wrap articles with clean wrapping paper.
Identify boxes on both sides and top for easier location when needed.
When placing items or boxes in the storage space, place the heavier items on bottom - stack the lighter items on top.
Disassemble furniture, if possible. Cover all furniture for protection. Wrap furniture legs with packing paper as scratch protection.
Stack chairs seat-to-seat with cloth or paper separating them.
Don’t pack boxes too heavily and use a dolly when necessary. Make sure they are able to be lifted without difficulty.

Ask the storage consultant to help you choose a space size that fits your storage space & usage needs.
Never store live animals, food, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, or toxic materials in your space.
Place the largest, heaviest items in the back of the unit.
Place valuable items in the back of the unit, out of sight.
Always alert the manager or staff of any suspicious behavior.
Insurance - Insure your goods kept in storage! You have sole responsibility for the goods you place in storage. Be aware that your goods are not insured by the storage facility in the event of damage, theft, or loss of any kind. Contact your homeowner's or renter's insurance company, or your storage consultant can provide names of insurance companies for coverage.
